Prenatal Care
At NorthPointe Birth Center, prenatal care is typically your introduction to the midwifery model: personalized, respectful, and centered around you.
Your care begins with a full tour and orientation, so you know what to expect and can feel confident in choosing our center.
At your initial prenatal visit, you’ll meet with one of our midwives to talk through your health history, pregnancy goals, and any questions you may have. We’ll take time to ensure we’re a good fit and provide you with the information and support you need to make informed choices.
Ongoing appointments include monitoring your baby’s heart rate and growth, checking in on your physical and emotional well-being, and continuing conversations about your birth preferences. Each visit is designed to keep you informed, supported, and empowered while making sure you remain a good candidate for out-of-hospital birth at NPBC.
