Emergency Care

Beloit Hospital Emergency Department & Level-III Trauma Center

When life-threatening medical emergencies happen, you want an emergency room that delivers immediate, expert medical care. Beloit Hospital's Emergency department is ready to meet your needs 24/7. As a Level-III Trauma Center, the department is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians, physician assistants, and specially trained registered nurses who provide quality medical care to patients in all types of emergencies.

As patients arrive at our Emergency Department, they are greeted, quickly registered, and assessed for the severity of their injury or ailment. Patients are then taken back to the triage area, where a medical team decides their treatment plan. Family members should wait in the lobby during this process, except for if the patient is a child. In the triage area, the diagnosis process begins. Blood tests, X-rays, and other tests, may be ordered to determine a diagnosis, once test results are back, the physician will determine if the patient can go home or must be admitted for further care.
