Diabetes Care
Beloit Health System : Diabetes Care & Patient Education Programs
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 1 in 3 American children born in the US today face a future with diabetes if current trends continue. That number is closer to 1 in 2 for disproportionately affected populations including African Americans and Hispanics/Latinos. The American Diabetes Association wants to reverse this trend. In fact, we want to stop diabetes and mobilize a movement to inspire millions to take action to end the devastating toll that diabetes takes on the lives of individuals and families across the country.
