We are seeking a per diem Ultrasonographer to work 8-hour shifts on an as-needed basis.
This position will:
- Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures that include but are not limited to: breast, abdominal, pelvic, abdominal vascular, small parts and OB (high volume of the latter)
- Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups
- Provide technical support and ensure efficient operation of the Ultrasound department
- Be responsible for staying current with Ultrasound skills and new developments in the field
- Work at all Beloit Health System Locations, including Beloit Hospital, Beloit Clinic and NorthPointe Health and Wellness
- Will work call rotation and must be able to respond within 40 minutes when on call
Education Required:
- Minimum of graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
Work Experience:
- Minimum - Previous Healthcare Experience
- Preferred - Two (2) years' clinical experience
Licenses and Certifications:
- Minimum – Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations. (RDMS) in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography.
- Preferred – Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations listed above and RVT
- CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.
