Nommo Donald Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree From West Coast Bible College & Seminary

We are thrilled to celebrate our remarkable Vice President, Nommo Donald, who will be honored with an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from West Coast Bible College & Seminary (WCBCS)! This prestigious accolade recognizes her lifelong commitment to serving economically disadvantaged populations in the healthcare industry.

The ceremonial event is scheduled for June 7, 2025. Dr. Phillip S. Porter, President of WCBCS, expressed his excitement, stating, “Nommo is a visionary and dedicated healthcare servant leader with a passion to serve, empower, and advocate for the economically underserved in the community. It is my privilege to welcome her into the esteemed West Coast family.”

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Donald has significantly impacted the healthcare field, starting her career in customer service and advancing through various roles, including Pharmaceutical Representative and Regional Referral Manager. She has served in administrative positions at some of the largest teaching and academic healthcare centers in the United States, including Emory Healthcare, Grady Healthcare System, and Texas Health Resources.

Dr. Donald’s achievements have not gone unnoticed; she has received numerous accolades, including being named among the Top 50 Women Leaders of Wisconsin and recognized by the NAACP for her health care leadership.

Nommo attributes her success to her faith, family, and mentors. Passionate about making a difference, she believes in the power of empowerment, inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “If I can help somebody along the way, then my living will not be in vain.”
