Botox
Botox® Cosmetic Botox is a purified protein produced by botulinum toxin
type A. Botox works by weakening the muscles that cause facial expressions,
temporarily reducing moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows
and more. BOTOX can be very effective in treating facial wrinkles in the
forehead, between the eyes, and in the “crow’s feet”
around the eyes. While BOTOX results are visible, they will not radically
change your facial appearance.
Juvederm® and Restylane®
Juvederm and Restylane are dermal fillers that use hyaluronic acid to plump
lines in the face. They increase hydration to the skin and stimulate collagen
production for a long-lasting benefit. These products can be effective
for diminishing wrinkles around the mouth or beneath the eyes. Results
typically last between 6 to 12 months, depending on the area treated.
Radiesse® Radiesse is a filler that uses smooth calcium hydoxylapatite
(CaHA) microspheres to diminish lines and creases around the eyes and
lips. Radiesse increases volume in the face for an instant effect, but
also stimulates your own body’s collagen production for long-lasting
results. Radiesse typically lasts for about 12 to 18 months.
