This position will:
Perform all ultrasound examinations according to department protocols under
the supervision of a Licensed Ultrasonographer
Use proper imaging techniques and equipment to obtain scans of optimal quality
Provide technical support for smooth and efficient operation of the Ultrasound
Department
Responsible for staying abreast of current ultrasound skills and new developments
in the field
Document pertinent history for each procedure to provide the radiologist
with adequate information prior to interpretation
Will rotate to multiple locations and participate in a call rotation
Required:
ARDMS registered/registry eligible in one ultrasound modality
Currently in last semester of respective ultrasound educational program
CPR certification within 90 days of hire
Proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation
activities and report generation
