This position will:
Perform duties related to scheduling and pre-registration for upcoming
services and assuring a positive experience for the patient
Responsible for obtaining pertinent information from patients, other care
providers and health records to ensure that orthopedic visits are scheduled
timely and with an appropriate provider
Duties require a high degree of interpretation of medical records and focused
patient interviewing that would customarily be performed by someone with
nursing or medical assistant skill set
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification as Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or equivalent
Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a health care setting or
its equivalent
Preferred:
Minimum of two (2) years' scheduling, patient accounts, unit clerk or medical
assistant experience
Clinic, Surgical and Medical Diagnostic scheduling experience
