In this new role, you will:
Be responsible for performing duties related to scheduling and pre-registration
for upcoming services and assuring a positive experience for the patient
Obtain pertinent information from patients, other care providers and health
records to determine that orthopedic visits are scheduled timely and with
an appropriate provider.
Interpret medical records and conduct focused patient interviewing that
would customarily be performed by someone with nursing or medical assistant
or above skillset
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification as Nursing or Medical Assistant, or its equivalent
Certification as Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) or Specialist (CRCS)
within one year or at time of placement in position
A minimum four years ' experience in health care setting or its equivalent
Preferred:
At least two years of scheduling, patient accounts, unit clerk , or medical
assistant experience
Clinical , Surgical and Medical Diagnostic scheduling experience
