Duties Will Include:
Coordinates equipment and supplies needed for surgical cases
Functions as liaison between physicians, leadership and surgical staff personnel
Performs inventory cycle counts
Prepares purchase orders
Helps to maintain item database
Audits surgical case charges on a daily basis
Serves as a resource for Central Supply, Surgical Services and Coding departments
Participates on committees and project teams, as requested
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail, communication skills and ability to adapt to
a fast-paced, multi-task environment essential
Desired Experience/Qualities:
Exposure to/experience with OR procedures and familiarity with multi-specialty
surgical products and equipment
Surgical Tech experience very beneficial, but not required
Inventory control and auditing experience
Competent in PC operations and understanding of charge build requirements
strongly desired
Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and supply chain basics
