This is a full-time, on-site role for a Clinical Nursing Manager, Surgical Services located in Beloit, WI. The Nursing Manager will be responsible for managing nursing staff, overseeing patient care, and ensuring compliance with medical and regulatory standards in Surgical Services and Sterile Processing Departments. The Nursing Manager coordinates and evaluates patient care of designated units, ensures and evaluates documentation of nursing care and outcomes, functions as a clinical resource and role model for staff. The Nursing Manager effectively manages labor resources to ensure staff availability and productivity, resolves issues involving patient, family, employees, physicians and other disciplines. The Nursing Manager assesses and supports staff development and learning needs and assists in preparing annual budget and monitoring monthly reports for areas of responsibility. The Nursing Manager will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care and contributing to the continuous improvement of healthcare services.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited NLN school of nursing, BSN preferred
  • Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure
  • Previous Nursing Leadership within the Perioperative and/or Gastroenterological setting
  • CPR Certified
  • Ability to manage human and financial resources, ensuring patient, staff, and provider satisfaction; maintaining a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors, ensuring standards and quality of care are maintained
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
  • Previous experience in healthcare management is a plus
