This is a full-time, on-site role for a Clinical Nursing Manager supports
the Medical Surgical, Advanced Joint Care Center, and Float Pool Departments.
This Clinical Nursing Manager functions as a clinical resource and role
model for nursing staff, coordinate and evaluate patient care of designated
unit, and evaluates documentation of nursing care and outcomes. The Clinical
Nursing Manager will effectively manage labor resources to ensure nursing
staff availability and productivity, resolves issues involving patient,
family, employees, physicians, and other disciplines. The Clinical Nursing
Manager will assess and support unit staff development and learning needs
and formulates communication between nursing staff and administration.
The Clinical Nursing Manager will assist in preparing annual budget and
monitoring monthly reports for areas of responsibility. Must be able to
functions as staff RN as needed to provide patient care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited NLN school of nursing, BSN preferred.
Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure
A minimum of 2 years of inpatient staff RN experience
CPR Certified within 3 months of hire
Telemetry experience helpful
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
Previous experience in healthcare management is a plus
Ability to manage human and financial resources, ensuring patient, staff,
and provider satisfaction; maintaining a safe environment for staff, patients,
and visitors, ensuring standards and quality of care are maintained
