Beloit Health System is hiring a Per Diem Medical Assistant to join our
Cancer Care Center Team.
The Medical Assistant will greet and room patients, take vitals signs,
collaborate with the physicians and nurse to provide exceptional patient
care, assist with examinations, prepare patients for procedures, and administer
injections. This Medical Assistant will also reconcile medication lists
and triage and respond to patient messages per protocol. The Medical Assistant
will also assist with other clinical duties including scheduling appointments,
assisting with billing and claims questions, ordering supplies, , and
cleaning exam rooms.
Required:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program with current Registration/Certification
as Medical Assistant
Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
Professional and effective communication skills are a must
Strong critical thinking abilities
Desired:
Previous experience is a plus
Experience with Electronic Medical Records
