Per Diem position. Variable shift. The MRI Technologist care for patients
while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist
interpretation. Responsibility includes EMR-PACS navigation, general patient
care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing
proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with
all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care. American
Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT(R)) registered. Advanced certification
in MRI one year after hire if not currently registered. Maintains Basic
Life support certification. Two years radiography experience. One-year
MRI experience. Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively
with patients who maybe be under physical and/or emotional stress in order
to gather and exchange routine patient information with peers, nursing,
radiologist and provide.
