Beloit Health System is adding a Medical Assistant to our Family Practice
Team at our South Beloit Clinic.
In this Medical Assistant position you will room patients, assist providers
with procedures, reconcile medication lists, administer injections, respond
to patient messages per protocol. The Medical Assistant will also assist
with clinical duties, ordering of supplies, scheduling procedures and
appointments, completing medication refills per protocol, and cleaning
exam rooms, and completing patient paperwork including FMLA, Short and
Long-Term Disability, etc.
Required:
Current Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant OR Graduate of
an accredited Medical Assistant program that must receive Certification
or Registration within 18 months of hire
Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
Work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong critical thinking abilities
Desired:
Great communication skills
Experience with Electronic Medical Records
Prior experience in Family Practice is helpful
