Beloit Health System Employee Recognized as Exceptional Nurse of the Year by Wisconsin Nurses Association

Beloit Health System is proud to announce that Chad Rowcliff, a nurse at Beloit Regional Hospice, has been recognized as an Exceptional Nurse of the Year by the Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA).

The WNA Exceptional Nurse of the Year award is given to outstanding nurses who have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and commitment to their patients and profession. Chad Rowcliff, a registered nurse at Beloit Regional Hospice, was selected for this honorary award.

Chad was nominated by a patient’s daughter for the award. She stated, "As a pediatric nurse for over 42 years, I have never witnessed a death as peaceful as my mom’s and I credit Chad for his expertise and excellent advocacy for my mom’s needs,” his patient’s daughter wrote. “Chad is a blessing to our family and exceeded our family’s expectations as my mom’s hospice nurse case manager and daily dose of kindness.”

As a nurse at Beloit Regional Hospice, Chad Rowcliff has demonstrated a deep understanding of the unique needs of patients and families facing end-of-life care. He has consistently gone above and beyond to provide exceptional care, comfort, and support to his patients and their loved ones.

"We are extremely proud of Chad and his recognition as an Exceptional Nurse of the Year," said Deidre Bennett, Beloit Regional Hospice Director at Beloit Health System. "Chad embodies the values of our organization and is an inspiration to his colleagues. His dedication to providing high-quality patient care is a testament to his commitment to his profession and our organization."

The WNA Exceptional Nurse of the Year award will be presented at the WNA's annual convention in May. Chad Rowcliff will join a distinguished group of nurse leaders who have received this prestigious award.
