Pulling for Hospice raises over $25,000 for Hospice Patients and their families

The third annual “Pulling for Hospice” Fundraiser was held this past Sunday, June 11, at the Beloit Clinic parking lot. Teams of 8-10 competed to see who could pull a decommissioned fire truck 75 feet the fastest.

15 teams came out to participate in the pull. Teams were formed by several local businesses and community groups. Country Financial took home the win and a 4ft tall traveling trophy.

The final standings of the teams were:

  15. 500 Hawk Power (Blackhawk Bank)

“Despite the rain, everyone had a great time and we were able to raise over $25,000 for our Hospice patients and their families. We appreciate all of the support shown throughout the entire community,” Lindsay Baumann, BHS Marketing and Community Relations Manager.
