Since 1982 Beloit Regional Hospice has provided our community with resources to help better inform our patients, their loved-ones, our neighbors and professional caregivers about end-of-life care. Initiatives from the beginning, have included a library of resource books on life, death, grief and more, speakers from our staff available to inform community groups, as well as educational events in partner with others and free grief support services. The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization
The largest nonprofit membership organization representing hospice and palliative care programs and professionals in the United States. The section called Caring Connections provides valuable resources to caregivers, patients and professionals. www.nhpco.org

Hospice Foundation of America
A not-for-profit organization assisting those who cope either personally or professionally with terminal illness, death, and the process of grief. www.hospicefoundation.org

The Hospice Organization and Palliative Experts of Wisconsin
The Wisconsin state organization of licensed hospices. www.hopeofwisconsin.org

Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association
The purpose of the HPNA is to exchange information, experiences, and ideas; to promote understanding of the specialties of hospice and palliative nursing; and to study and promote hospice and palliative nursing research. www.hpna.org

American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine
The only organization in the United States for physicians dedicated to the advancement of hospice/palliative medicine, its practice, research and education. www.aahpm.org
