This position will:
Perform all ultrasound examinations according to department protocols
Use proper imaging techniques and equipment to obtain scans of optimal quality
Provides technical support for smooth and efficient operation of the Ultrasound
Department
Be responsible for staying abreast of current ultrasound skill and new
development in the field
Documents pertinent history for each procedure to provide the radiologist
with adequate information prior to interpretation
Will rotate to multiple locations and participate in a call rotation
Required:
ARDMS certification in at least two (2) areas preferred
Registration is vascular within 1 year of hire
CPR certification within 90 days of hire
Proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation
activities and report generation.
Preferred:
Illinois Rad Tech license
One-year experience with orthopedic views preferred, but will consider
new graduates

Hours: 64/pay period (32 per week)
