Ultrasonographer I - Medical Imaging - 135.21
Perform all ultrasound examinations according to department protocols. Uses proper imaging techniques and equipment to obtain scans of optimal quality. Provides technical support for smooth and efficient operation of the Ultrasound Department. Responsible for staying abreast of current ultrasound skills and new developments in the field of ultrasound. Responsible for documenting pertinent history for each procedure, in order to provide the radiologist with adequate information prior to interpretation. Call rotation. Graduate of AMA approved School of Ultrasound ARDMS certification in at least two areas preferred. Registry in Vascular within one year or hire. CPR certified. Minimum 1 year experience. Experience with Breast imaging preferred. Will consider new graduates. Proficiency with computer skills and software programs used documentation activities and report generation.
