Beloit Health System is hiring an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to work at both our NorthPointe Immediate Care and the Beloit Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. You’ll experience all this and more as a Registered Nurse with Beloit Health System. This Registered Nurse will work both at our NorthPointe Immediate Care location and our Beloit Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. This RN will You will plan, coordinate, provide and supervise care throughout our clients’ age groups (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric). This includes providing cost-effective care, accurately evaluating their health status and appropriately educating them and their families. You will also adhere to infection control policies, complete documentation and ensure patient safety.
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- ADN, diploma, BSN or MSN is acceptable
- Emergency experience helpful but not required
- State of Wisconsin & Illinois RN licensure
- CPR certification within 6 months of hire
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work independently and react calmly in emergencies
- Emergency Services staff require ACLS certification within 18 months of hire
- Emergency Services staff require telemetry training within 1 year of hire
- Emergency Services staff must have PALS certification within 18 months of hire
